What is Axiom Trade?

Short answer

Axiom Trade is a web-based, non-custodial crypto trading terminal at axiom.trade. It started in early 2025 as a Solana memecoin tool and now covers several chains, Hyperliquid perpetuals, wallet and social trackers, and yield. It is run by Axiom Innovations Inc., a Y Combinator Winter 2025 company, and charges a 1% trading fee with cashback tiers.

If you are asking what is Axiom Trade, the short version is this: it is a trading terminal that runs in your browser at axiom.trade and lets you buy and sell on-chain tokens from a wallet that Axiom does not hold the keys to. Axiom describes itself as "The Gateway to DeFi". Most people know it as the Axiom Trade meme coin terminal, because Solana memecoins are where it started and what most of its tools are built around.

This page covers what the platform does, who built it, how much money it makes, which chains it supports and, just as usefully, what it does not offer. Every figure below carries a date and a source.

What is Axiom Trade, in plain terms?

Axiom Trade is a non-custodial trading terminal for crypto. You sign up with an email address, a Google account or a Phantom wallet, Axiom creates a wallet for you, you fund it, and you trade tokens directly on-chain through Axiom's interface. There is nothing to install.

It is not an exchange in the Coinbase or Binance sense. There is no order book run by Axiom and no company-held balance. Axiom routes your swaps to on-chain liquidity and takes a percentage fee on each trade. The company behind it is Axiom Innovations Inc., and its Terms of Service are governed by California law.

Early access opened in late January 2025 and the wider public launch followed in mid-February 2025, according to The Block. DefiLlama's fee data for Axiom begins on January 19, 2025.

Who are the Axiom Trade founders?

Axiom was founded by Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis. Zhang is the CEO and previously worked on generative-AI advertising at TikTok. Ellis is the CTO and is a former DoorDash intern. In crypto circles they are also known by the aliases "Mist" and "Cal". These details come from the company's Y Combinator profile and from reporting by The Block.

The company went through Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch. The YC page lists it as founded in 2024, based in Austin, Texas, with a team size of two. Both founders were in their early twenties when The Block profiled them in May 2025. Sources do not agree on where they studied, so we leave that out.

On funding, the Y Combinator backing is confirmed. We found no announced priced funding round, and any valuation figure you see quoted online is an outside estimate, not a reported number.

How much revenue does Axiom Trade make?

Axiom Trade revenue comes almost entirely from per-trade fees, and the reported totals are large for a two-founder company. The figures below are the ones we could tie to a named source and a date. Note the difference between fees (what traders paid) and revenue (what Axiom keeps after cashback and referral payouts).

The Y Combinator page also carries an undated, self-reported company claim of "$10M MRR and $5M monthly net profit". On usage, a September 2025 case study by Axiom's wallet provider Turnkey cites more than one million user wallets created and over 100,000 users onboarded per month. Security firm Socket, writing in September 2026, cited more than 47,000 daily active traders by early August 2026 as a secondary figure.

Which chains and markets does Axiom Trade support?

Axiom Trade crypto trading started on Solana and has expanded to several chains. On September 17, 2026 the live app's chain selector listed Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ink and Arc, with Hyperliquid used for perpetual futures.

The in-app changelog dates the additions: BNB Chain in October 2025, Ethereum in May 2026, Robinhood Chain in July 2026, and Base and Ink in September 2026. Arc, Circle's USDC-native chain, was the newest banner in the app when we checked. Axiom's own FAQ still says it "currently supports Solana", which is simply out of date.

Good to know. Axiom's documentation lags the product. Several docs pages still describe a Solana-only app. Where the docs and the live app disagree, we say so rather than pick one.

What can you do on Axiom Trade?

Most of the platform is built around finding new tokens early and executing quickly. For Axiom Trade memecoin traders, the main screen is Pulse, a live feed split into three columns (New Pairs, Final Stretch and Migrated), with filters for holder concentration, developer holdings, snipers, liquidity and more.

  • Fast execution. One-click Quick Buy, a floating Instant Trade panel with hotkeys, and three saved presets for slippage, priority fee and MEV mode. Our settings guide explains each field.
  • Orders. Limit orders you can drag on the chart, one-click strategies that place sell orders with your buy, and a migration sniper that buys or sells at the moment a token migrates.
  • Trackers. A wallet tracker for up to 500 wallets, a social tracker covering X and Truth Social, trader and KOL leaderboards, and price alerts to Discord or Telegram.
  • Perpetuals. Hyperliquid-powered perps with up to 50x leverage and USDC margin. Leverage magnifies losses as much as gains.
  • Yield and rewards. SOL staking and a liquid staking token, a points system, and SOL cashback on trading fees.
  • Newer additions. A Predictions tab launched in June 2026, plus privacy features named Vanish and Husher.

Memecoins are high-risk assets and many lose most of their value quickly. Faster tools do not change that.

How does Axiom hold your funds?

Axiom states that it is fully non-custodial: wallets are secured through a provider called Turnkey, and the Terms say Axiom "does not store copies of Keys and does not custody your tokens". Your seed phrase is shown at signup and stays available in settings, and the docs suggest importing it into Phantom, Rabby or Solflare as a backup.

The practical consequence runs both ways. Axiom does not hold your tokens, and it also cannot recover a lost key. Automated features such as limit orders rely on Turnkey's policy-based signing, and anyone who steals your logged-in browser session can trade from your account. Our Axiom Trade review goes through the safety record, including the February 2026 staff-access allegations.

What Axiom Trade does not have

Several things people search for do not officially exist. We found no official iOS or Android app, APK or browser extension, no public API, no paper-trading or demo mode, no official Telegram trading bot and no documented native copy trading. Each of those gaps has been filled by third parties, and some of those third-party tools have been used to steal from traders.

There is also no paid tier. The name "Axiom Pro" refers to the same free-to-join platform, as our Axiom Pro page explains. And there is no Axiom token, so there is no real "Axiom price" to check.

Watch out. The only official website is axiom.trade, with documentation at docs.axiom.trade. Fake apps, look-alike domains and malicious extensions that target Axiom users have all been documented. Never type your seed phrase into any site or app that asks for it.

What does the Axiom Trade logo look like, and where do you get it?

The genuine Axiom Trade logo is the mark shown in the header of axiom.trade and on the company's official X profile, @AxiomExchange. We do not host or redistribute the logo, and Axiom has not published brand guidelines that we could find, so those two places are the reference for the real thing.

Two practical points. First, the brand goes by three names: Axiom Trade after its domain, Axiom Exchange after its X handle, and Axiom Pro on DefiLlama and affiliate sites. All three mean the same product. Second, a logo proves nothing. Phishing pages and fake apps copy it pixel for pixel, so judge a page by its address bar, not by its branding. If you need the logo for an article or video, take it from the official site and do not present yourself as Axiom.

Questions people ask

What is Axiom Trade used for?

Axiom Trade is used to find and trade on-chain tokens, mostly memecoins, from one browser screen. It combines a live token feed called Pulse, one-click buying and selling, limit orders, a migration sniper, wallet and social trackers, Hyperliquid perpetuals and a yield section. It is a trading terminal that routes your orders on-chain, not an exchange that holds your deposits.

Who are the Axiom Trade founders?

Axiom was founded by Henry Zhang (CEO, previously at TikTok working on generative-AI ads) and Preston Ellis (CTO, a former DoorDash intern), according to the company's Y Combinator page. They went through Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch. Sources disagree on where they studied, so we do not state it.

How much revenue does Axiom Trade make?

The Block reported that Axiom passed $100 million in fees about four months after launch (May 2025) and more than $390 million in revenue by February 26, 2026. DefiLlama's public API showed $783.9 million in all-time fees and $41.4 million over the previous 30 days when we checked on September 17, 2026. Fees are what traders paid; revenue is lower because cashback and referral payouts come out of it.

Is Axiom Trade only for Solana memecoins?

No. That was true at launch, and part of Axiom's own FAQ still says so, but the live app's chain selector listed Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ink and Arc on September 17, 2026, plus Hyperliquid for perpetuals. Memecoin trading on Solana is still what most of the tooling is built around.

Does Axiom Trade have its own token?

No official Axiom token, ticker or airdrop has been announced. The Block reported in May 2025 that Axiom had no plans for a native token. Coins called AXIOM on price trackers are unrelated projects. See our Axiom price page for the details.

Is Axiom Trade the same as Axiom Pro?

Yes. Axiom Pro is a label used by DefiLlama and by many affiliate sites for the same platform. There is no separate or paid product with that name on axiom.trade. Our Axiom Pro explainer covers where the name comes from.
