Axiom Instant Trade and hotkeys, explained

Short answer

Axiom Instant Trade is a floating one-click buy and sell panel that sits next to the chart, with hotkeys and a PnL display. Axiom's docs describe the hotkeys as spacebar combinations. We do not list exact keys because our fact base does not confirm them, so read them in the panel itself. Every click or key press is a real order.

Axiom Instant Trade is the fastest way to place an order on the platform: a floating buy and sell panel that sits next to the chart and sends a trade with one click or one key press. That speed is the feature and also the hazard. This guide covers what the panel contains, what Axiom's docs say about hotkeys, how the panel depends on your presets, and how to set it up so a slip of the hand stays cheap.

What is Axiom Instant Trade?

It is a floating one-click buy and sell panel beside the token chart, with hotkeys and a PnL display. That is how Axiom's Instant Trade page describes it. You keep your eyes on the chart and act from the panel, without going back to the standard order form.

The panel does not change what a trade costs or how it is routed. It sends an ordinary spot order with settings you chose earlier. What it removes is the time between deciding and clicking, which matters in memecoin markets where a price can move a long way in seconds.

What is on the Instant Trade panel?

Four things are documented: buy buttons, sell buttons, hotkeys and a PnL display. A fifth, the active preset, is not part of the panel but decides how every order from it is sent.

  • Buy buttons. One click sends a buy. The size is whatever amount the button carries, which you set in advance.
  • Sell buttons. One click sends a sell, so you can exit as fast as you entered.
  • Hotkeys. Keyboard shortcuts that do the same job as the buttons. The docs describe them as spacebar combinations.
  • PnL display. Your profit or loss on the position, shown on the panel while you trade. Axiom's changelog says fees are included in PnL since 3 June 2025.

The parts follow Axiom's Instant Trade documentation; the exact layout and key labels are whatever the live app shows you.

The layout can change between releases, so treat this as a list of parts and not as a screenshot. For the longer record of your results, see the Axiom PnL tracker.

What are the Axiom hotkeys?

Axiom's docs say the Instant Trade hotkeys are built on spacebar combinations. We do not list the exact keys, because our research could not confirm each combination and we will not guess at shortcuts that move real money.

To find the current Axiom Trade keyboard shortcuts yourself:

  1. Open a token chart. Log in at axiom.trade and open any token page.
  2. Open the Instant Trade panel. Look for the Instant Trade control near the chart and the order form.
  3. Read the key labels. Check the panel and its options for the shortcut shown against each action, and compare with the official docs page.
  4. Test on a low-balance wallet. A hotkey press is a live order. There is no official demo mode, as the Axiom Pro paper trading page explains.

Watch out. Do not install a browser extension that promises extra Axiom hotkeys or a faster panel. Axiom has no official extension, and Socket reported in September 2026 that malicious extensions stole logged-in Axiom session data. The built-in panel on axiom.trade is the only one to use.

How does Instant Trade relate to presets and Quick Buy?

Instant Trade uses whichever preset is active. Axiom has three presets, P1, P2 and P3, and each stores slippage, priority fee, bribe and MEV mode. The panel decides when the order goes out. The preset decides how.

Quick Buy is the other Axiom one click buy. It is the lightning-bolt button on token lists such as Axiom Pulse filters, where you can set a separate amount per table. The two tools overlap but sit in different places.

A common pattern is to enter from a list with Quick Buy and manage the position from the chart with Instant Trade. Both inherit the same preset, so a high-slippage preset left active for new pairs applies to every order you send. The Axiom slippage explains each preset field and its trade-off.

How do fat-finger trades happen?

They happen when an order fires that you did not mean to send, or at a size or setting you did not intend. With a one-click panel and keyboard shortcuts, there is no second prompt between the mistake and the blockchain. The usual causes are:

  • A double click that sends two buys.
  • A key press meant for another field or window while the panel is active.
  • A button amount left over from an earlier, larger trade.
  • The wrong preset active, for example one with high slippage and high fees.
  • The wrong wallet selected. Axiom allows up to 25 active wallets per account.

A blockchain trade cannot be undone. You can only trade back, and that costs twice. On the Wood tier, Axiom's net fee is 0.95% per trade, so a buy and an immediate sell cost about 1.9% in fees. On Solana you also pay the priority fee and bribe on both legs, 0.004 SOL in total at the documented 0.001 SOL defaults, plus whatever the price moved. The Axiom Trade fees breakdown has the full picture.

How to limit accidental trades before you enable Instant Trade

Decide sizes and settings while you are calm, then open the panel. We do not suggest amounts. The test is simple: every button should carry a size you could lose to a misclick without it changing your day.

  1. Set the button amounts first. Check every buy and sell button, not only the one you plan to use.
  2. Confirm the active preset. Read its slippage, priority fee, bribe and MEV mode. Axiom's docs recommend the Secure MEV mode, covered in our Axiom MEV mode guide.
  3. Check the selected wallet. While you learn the panel, use a wallet that holds only a small balance.
  4. Learn the hotkeys, then decide. If you do not need them, look for a way to switch them off. We could not confirm a documented toggle, so check the panel options.
  5. Close the panel when idle. Do not leave it open while you type in search boxes, chats or other tabs.

Good to know. The documented settings and defaults describe Solana. Axiom's docs do not say how Instant Trade or its hotkeys behave on the other chains, so check the panel again after you switch chain.

When is Instant Trade the wrong tool?

It is the wrong tool when you already know your exit price or cannot watch the chart. In those cases a prepared order does the job with less risk of a slip. Axiom's Axiom limit orders let you place exits in advance and leave them working.

Instant Trade also does nothing for your odds. It shortens the time between a decision and an order, and a bad decision sent quickly is still a bad decision. The panel makes memecoin trading faster, not safer.

Questions people ask

What is Instant Trade on Axiom?

Instant Trade is a floating panel beside the token chart that sends a buy or sell order with one click. Axiom's docs also describe hotkeys built on spacebar combinations and a PnL display on the panel. It uses your saved trade settings, so there is no form to fill in before each order.

What are the Axiom hotkeys?

Axiom's docs describe the Instant Trade hotkeys as spacebar combinations. We do not publish a key list because we could not confirm the exact combinations, and shortcuts can change between releases. Open the Instant Trade panel on axiom.trade and read the keys shown there, or check the official Instant Trade page.

Does Axiom have a one click buy?

Yes, in two places. Quick Buy is the lightning-bolt button on token lists such as Pulse, and Instant Trade is the floating panel next to the chart with one-click buy and sell buttons. Both send the order with the settings you saved in advance, so check the amount and the active preset first.

Can you turn off Axiom keyboard shortcuts?

We could not confirm a documented switch for the hotkeys, so look for the option in the Instant Trade panel and in your settings. If you do not find one, the safe fallback is to close the panel when you are not trading, because a panel that is not open cannot take an order.

How do you avoid accidental trades with Instant Trade?

Set the button amounts to a size you could lose to a mistake, confirm which preset is active, and keep a low-balance wallet selected while you learn the panel. Close the panel before typing in other fields or chatting. An accidental order still pays Axiom's fee and network costs, and reversing it pays them again.
