How to use Axiom Trade: a beginner tutorial
Short answer
To use Axiom Trade, open axiom.trade, sign up with email, Google or Phantom, and write down the seed phrase Axiom shows you. Send SOL to your new wallet, set a preset (slippage, priority fee, bribe, MEV mode), then find a token on Pulse, read its holder and liquidity data, buy with Quick Buy or Instant Trade, and place limit sells. Most memecoins go to zero.
This tutorial shows how to use Axiom Trade from a standing start: opening an account, backing up the wallet, adding funds, finding your way around the interface, and placing and closing a first memecoin trade. Steps were checked against Axiom's docs and the live app on 17 September 2026. We are an independent guide, not Axiom, and nothing here tells you what to buy or how much to risk.
Some sites call the platform "Axiom Pro", so an "Axiom Pro trading" tutorial and an Axiom Trade guide describe the same product. There is no separate paid version; see what Axiom Pro actually is.
What do you need before you start?
You need a web browser, one way to sign in (an email address, a Google account or a Phantom wallet) and some SOL to trade with. Axiom is a web app. Its official material mentions no iOS or Android app, APK or browser extension, so everything below happens at axiom.trade, which also has a mobile layout.
You do not need an invite code. When we opened the signup window on 17 September 2026, the first step offered only email, Google and Phantom. A code is an optional extra: Axiom's docs say users who join through a referral link get a 10% discount on trading fees, without stating how long it lasts. Our referral code page has the details. Have pen and paper ready for the seed phrase.
Watch out. The only official address is axiom.trade. Look-alike domains such as auth-axiom.trade have been reported, a fake "Axiom" mobile app drained more than 200 users according to community investigators, and malicious browser extensions have stolen logged-in Axiom sessions. Type the address yourself and read our safe login checklist before you enter anything.
How to create an Axiom Trade account
Signing up creates a new wallet for you. The part that matters is the backup, not the form.
- Open the official site. Type axiom.trade into the address bar or use a bookmark you made yourself. Skip search ads and links sent in direct messages.
- Choose a sign-in method. The options are email (Axiom sends a one-time code to your inbox), "Continue with Google" or "Connect with Phantom".
- Let Axiom create your wallet. Axiom generates a wallet at signup. It describes the wallet as non-custodial and secured by Turnkey; the Terms say Axiom stores no copies of your keys.
- Back up the seed phrase. The phrase is shown during signup, and the docs say you can view it again in your settings at any time. Write it on paper and keep it offline. Do not screenshot it, store it in a cloud note, or type it into any website, form or chat.
- Secure the login itself. Whoever controls your email or Google account can open your Axiom account, so give that account a unique password and two-factor authentication. Axiom's changelog lists "additional auth methods" added in July 2025 without describing them, so check your account settings.
Good to know. Because Axiom does not keep your keys, it cannot recover them. The docs recommend wallets such as Phantom, Rabby or Solflare for importing the phrase, which is also your way out if axiom.trade is ever unreachable.
How do you fund your Axiom wallet?
You fund Axiom by sending SOL to the wallet it created, either from another wallet or exchange, or through the Coinbase on-ramp inside the app. Axiom documents no deposit fee for the spot wallet; the sending exchange's withdrawal fee and the network fee still apply.
- Copy your deposit address. Find your Axiom wallet address in the app and copy it with the copy button instead of typing it.
- Send a small test first. In your exchange or wallet, choose SOL on the Solana network, paste the address, and send a small amount. A transfer on the wrong network can be lost for good.
- Send the rest once it arrives. When the test shows in your Axiom balance, repeat with the amount you planned.
If you hold no crypto yet, Axiom's homepage FAQ says you can buy through Coinbase, up to $500 per week with no KYC. That is Axiom's statement; we have not tested it in every region. Keep a little SOL aside for network costs: each trade pays a priority fee and a bribe (validator tip), both 0.001 SOL by default.
A quick tour of the interface
A first spot trade only needs Pulse and Portfolio, but these are the main areas you will see. A chain selector also switches between Solana and the other supported chains; this tutorial stays on Solana.
- Pulse. A live board of new tokens with filters and a one-click Quick Buy. See how Pulse and its filters work.
- Discover. Broader token lists with the tabs Top, Trending, DEX, Surge, Live, Radar, Callouts and Streamers.
- Trackers. A wallet tracker (up to 500 wallets, with groups) and a social tracker covering X and Truth Social. Axiom's official material does not document automated copy trading.
- Perpetuals. Leveraged futures powered by Hyperliquid, up to 50x with USDC margin. This guide does not cover perps.
- Yield. The homepage describes "up to 15% APY" via Marginfi, while the docs describe SOL staking and a liquid staking token, axiSOL. Check the live page before relying on any rate.
- Portfolio. Separate spot and perps views, a PnL calendar and custom PnL cards.
- Predictions. A Predictions tab launched in June 2026 with a World Cup promotion. The market provider is unconfirmed.
Why should you set a preset before trading?
A preset decides how every one-click order is sent, so set it before you touch a buy button. Axiom gives you three slots, P1, P2 and P3, and each stores slippage, priority fee, bribe and MEV mode.
Priority fee and bribe both default to 0.001 SOL, and Axiom auto-suggests values. For slippage, the docs only say to adjust it to volatility. Guide sites often mention 15-30% for brand-new pairs, but that is community opinion, not an official figure. The trade-off: higher slippage fills more often on fast-moving tokens at a possibly worse price; lower slippage protects the price and fails more often.
MEV mode has three settings: Off, Reduced and Secure. The docs recommend Secure, which routes through whitelisted validators and may be slower. Our Axiom settings walkthrough explains each field.
How to trade memecoins on Axiom, step by step
A spot trade on Axiom follows one sequence: find, check, buy, set exits, sell, review.
- Find a token on Pulse. The three columns follow a token from launch (New Pairs) towards its migration (Final Stretch) and after it (Migrated).
- Read the safety data. Look at the top-10 holders %, the developer's %, snipers %, insiders % and bundle %, then liquidity. High percentages mean a few wallets hold enough supply to crash the price by selling. Thin liquidity means your own sell will move the price. Good-looking numbers do not make a token safe.
- Open the token page. Check the chart and confirm the contract address, because copycat tokens reuse popular names and tickers.
- Buy with Quick Buy or Instant Trade. Quick Buy is the lightning-bolt button on a Pulse row; it buys a preset amount in one click, so confirm that amount first. Instant Trade is a floating buy and sell panel next to the chart with hotkeys and a live PnL readout.
- Place limit sells. Set sell orders with the slider or by dragging a line on the chart. Axiom's Auto-Strategies (Advanced Ordering) can "buy and place your limit orders in one click". There is no dedicated spot take-profit or stop-loss page in the docs; limit orders do that job.
- Sell. Use the sell side of the Instant Trade panel or the Sell tab on the token page.
- Check your PnL. Portfolio shows your PnL, including a calendar view, and Axiom has included fees in PnL since June 2025.
Each buy and each sell pays Axiom's 1% fee, which is 0.95% net at the entry (Wood) tier after SOL cashback, plus the priority fee and bribe. The Axiom fee breakdown shows every tier.
How do you withdraw funds from Axiom?
To withdraw, send tokens from your Axiom wallet to an external address you control, such as an exchange deposit address. Test with a small amount first. Axiom's docs list no withdrawal fee for the spot wallet, and network fees apply.
Since the wallet is non-custodial, you can also import the seed phrase into the genuine Phantom, Rabby or Solflare app and move funds from there. Money in Perpetuals takes one more step: the docs say you swap Hyperliquid USDC back to Solana USDC, which takes about five minutes, and they do not specify the cost.
What are the most common beginner mistakes?
- Logging in through an ad or a DM link. Look-alike login pages are one of the reported ways Axiom users lose funds.
- Installing "Axiom" apps, extensions or paper-trading overlays. None are official, and extensions run inside your logged-in session. Socket reported in September 2026 on extensions that stole Axiom session data.
- Sharing the seed phrase with "support". Official support is a Discord ticket only, and the docs say staff never message first.
- Clicking Quick Buy without checking the preset amount. One click is a real order.
- Expecting the 0.75% fee. That is the top (Champion) tier. New accounts pay 0.95% net, and Axiom does not publish the volume needed for each tier.
- Spending every last SOL. With no SOL left for network fees, you cannot sell.
How risky is memecoin trading on Axiom?
Very risky. Most memecoins go to zero. Axiom's filters and one-click tools make trading faster, not safer.
Platform risk exists too. We found no public security audit for Axiom, it claims no financial license, and its Terms cap liability at $100. Non-custodial does not mean untouchable: a stolen browser session or a leaked seed phrase still empties a wallet. Only use money you can afford to lose completely. This tutorial explains the software; it is not a plan for making money.

Questions people ask
How do you use Axiom Trade as a beginner?
Sign up on axiom.trade with email, Google or Phantom, back up the seed phrase on paper, and send a small amount of SOL to the wallet Axiom creates for you. Set one preset before trading, then use Pulse to find tokens and the Instant Trade panel to buy and sell. Our settings guide explains each preset field.
How do you trade memecoins on Axiom?
Open Pulse, pick a token from the New Pairs, Final Stretch or Migrated columns, and read the top-10 holder, developer, sniper, insider and bundle percentages plus liquidity. Buy with the lightning-bolt Quick Buy or the Instant Trade panel, then place limit sells on the chart. Most memecoins lose all of their value, so none of those numbers makes a token safe.
Do you need an invite code to sign up for Axiom Trade?
No. When we checked the signup window on 17 September 2026 it offered email, Google and Phantom, with no mandatory invite-code field on the first step. A referral code is optional: Axiom's docs say referred users get a 10% discount on trading fees, and the docs do not state how long it lasts.
Is Axiom Pro trading different from Axiom Trade?
No. Axiom Pro is a label used by DefiLlama and by affiliate sites for the same platform at axiom.trade. There is no separate paid tier or subscription, so every step in this tutorial applies whichever name you searched for. See our Axiom Pro explainer for details.
How much money do you need to start on Axiom Trade?
Axiom's documentation does not state a minimum deposit. You need enough SOL to cover the trade, the 1% platform fee (0.95% net at the entry tier after cashback) and network costs, where the default priority fee and bribe are 0.001 SOL each. We do not suggest trade sizes; never deposit money you cannot afford to lose.
How do you withdraw from Axiom Trade?
Send funds from your Axiom wallet to an external address you control and test with a small amount first. Axiom's docs list no withdrawal fee for the spot wallet, but network fees apply. Perpetuals balances must first be swapped from Hyperliquid USDC back to Solana USDC, which the docs say takes about five minutes.
