Is Axiom Trade available in the US, the UK and other countries?
Short answer
Axiom's current Terms, effective February 26, 2026, bar sanctioned persons and sanctioned jurisdictions and forbid using a VPN to get around restrictions. They do not name the United States or the United Kingdom as prohibited. A third-party claim of a US and UK ban could not be confirmed against the live Terms. Legal compliance is placed on you, so read the Terms and check your local law.
Is Axiom Trade available in the US? The short, honest answer is that Axiom's current Terms do not name the United States as a prohibited country, and they do not say it is permitted either. The Terms restrict sanctioned persons and sanctioned jurisdictions, forbid VPN circumvention, and leave legal compliance to you.
This page reports what we could and could not confirm when we read the Axiom Terms in a browser on September 17, 2026. It is not legal advice, and it contains no advice on getting around any restriction.
Is Axiom Trade available in the US?
The current Terms, effective February 26, 2026, do not name the US as a prohibited jurisdiction. That is the full extent of what we can confirm. The Terms do not contain a statement we can point to that says US residents are approved to use the platform.
Some context from official sources: the Terms are issued by Axiom Innovations Inc. and governed by California law with mandatory arbitration, and Y Combinator's company page lists Axiom as based in Austin, Texas. Axiom claims no licence. None of this tells you whether using an on-chain trading terminal is lawful for you under federal rules or the rules of your state. That question is yours to check, and the Terms place it on you.
What do the Axiom Terms actually restrict?
The Terms restrict by sanctions status, not by a list of named Western countries. In our reading, four points were clear, and three commonly repeated claims were not supported.
| Point | Status |
|---|---|
| Sanctioned persons may not use Axiom | Stated in the Terms |
| Sanctioned jurisdictions are barred | Stated in the Terms |
| Using a VPN to circumvent restrictions | Forbidden by the Terms |
| Responsibility for legal compliance | Placed on the user |
| United States named as prohibited | Not found in the current Terms |
| United Kingdom named as prohibited | Not found in the current Terms |
| Explicit US, UK and Russia ban | Third-party claim, unverified |
We do not publish a country-by-country list of Axiom Trade restricted countries, because our notes from the Terms do not contain one and sanctions lists change. If a site shows you a neat list of "banned countries", ask where in the Terms it comes from.
Is Axiom Trade available in the UK?
The current Terms do not name the UK as prohibited. As with the US, the absence of a named ban is not a statement that the service is approved for UK residents.
Axiom claims no licence in any country. If you searched for "Axiom Trade UK" to find out whether the platform is authorised locally, the answer we can give is that we found no such claim. Whether and how local rules on crypto services apply to your use is something to check with the regulator's own published guidance or a qualified adviser, not with a guide site.
Where does the "US and UK banned" claim come from?
It comes from a third-party article. FinTelegram wrote that Axiom's Terms prohibit users from the US, the UK and Russia, and that roughly 30% of the site's traffic is from the US. We could not confirm either point. The live Terms we read do not name the US or UK, and we have no way to verify the traffic figure.
Two explanations are possible, and we cannot tell which applies. The article may describe an earlier version of the Terms, since the Terms and Privacy Policy were both re-dated February 26, 2026. Or it may be an interpretation rather than a quotation. Either way, treat it as unverified, and treat any page that repeats it without a quotation from the Terms the same way.
Good to know. Terms can be changed at any time. What we report here is a reading on one date. The effective date printed at the top of the Terms tells you whether the document has changed since.
Can you use a VPN with Axiom Trade?
The Terms forbid using a VPN to circumvent Axiom's restrictions. That is all the Terms-based guidance there is, and it is the only guidance we give on the subject.
We do not explain how to get around geographic or sanctions restrictions, on Axiom or anywhere else. If the Terms or the law where you live say you may not use the platform, a VPN does not change your position; it adds a breach of the Terms to it. Searches for "Axiom Trade VPN" also attract scam pages offering special access links. The only official address is axiom.trade, as covered in our Axiom Trade login guide.
Does Axiom Trade require KYC?
We found no identity check on the first step of signup. The signup window on September 17, 2026 offered three options: email with a one-time code, Google, or a Phantom wallet. Whether any later step or situation triggers verification is not documented, so we cannot say "never".
Two official details touch the Axiom Trade KYC question. Axiom's homepage FAQ says the Coinbase fiat on-ramp allows purchases of up to $500 per week with no KYC; limits and checks beyond that belong to the on-ramp provider. And the Privacy Policy notes that identity verification may apply when you make a data-rights request. Funding routes are covered in the Axiom withdraw guide.
No KYC at signup does not mean no rules. The sanctions and compliance clauses apply to you whether or not anyone asks for a document.
How to read the Axiom Terms yourself
Reading the source takes a few minutes and is more reliable than any summary, including this one.
- Open the Terms from the official site. Type axiom.trade into the address bar yourself and follow the Terms link, or go to axiom.trade/terms. Do not use a link from a message or an ad.
- Check the effective date. We read the version dated February 26, 2026. A later date means the text may differ from this page.
- Search the page for key words. Use your browser's find function for "sanction", "jurisdiction", "VPN", "prohibited" and the name of your country.
- Read the matching clauses in full. Read each passage around a match, not just the sentence, including the parts on prohibited uses and on your responsibility for compliance.
- Check your own law. The Terms cannot tell you what your country or state allows. Your regulator's published guidance can.
What the Terms mean for you if something goes wrong
The Terms limit what you can expect from Axiom in a dispute. Liability is capped at $100, disputes go to mandatory arbitration under California law, and Axiom states that it does not custody your tokens or store copies of your keys, so it cannot recover them.
If you have an eligibility question that the Terms do not answer, Axiom's only official help channel is a Discord ticket, described on our Axiom Trade support page. Staff do not send direct messages first, so anyone who messages you offering to "unlock your region" is not Axiom. For the wider risk picture, including the February 2026 insider-access allegations, see the Axiom Trade review and the background in Axiom Trade explained.

Questions people ask
Is Axiom Trade available in the US?
The current Axiom Terms, effective February 26, 2026, do not name the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction. They bar sanctioned persons and sanctioned jurisdictions and place legal compliance on the user. That is not the same as a statement that use is lawful for you. Read the Terms yourself and check federal and state rules that apply to you.
What are the Axiom Trade restricted countries?
The Terms we read on September 17, 2026 restrict sanctioned persons and sanctioned jurisdictions. Our notes from that reading do not include a country-by-country list, so we do not publish one. Sanctions lists change, and the Terms can change too, so the live Terms page on axiom.trade is the only reliable reference.
Is Axiom Trade available in the UK?
The current Terms do not name the United Kingdom as prohibited. A third-party article claimed the Terms ban US, UK and Russian users, but we could not confirm that against the live Terms. Axiom claims no licence, so UK readers should check how local rules on crypto services apply to them before using it.
Can I use a VPN with Axiom Trade?
Axiom's Terms forbid using a VPN to circumvent its restrictions. We do not give advice on getting around restrictions of any kind. If the Terms or your local law say you may not use the platform, a VPN does not change that, and using one for that purpose breaches the Terms.
Does Axiom Trade require KYC?
The signup window we checked on September 17, 2026 offered email, Google or a Phantom wallet, with no identity check on that first step. Axiom's homepage FAQ says its Coinbase fiat on-ramp allows up to $500 per week with no KYC. Whether identity checks apply in other situations is not documented, and the Privacy Policy notes that identity verification may apply to data requests.
Is Axiom Trade regulated or licensed?
Axiom claims no licence. The Terms are issued by Axiom Innovations Inc., are governed by California law with mandatory arbitration, and cap liability at $100. See our Axiom Pro review for what that means for risk.
