Axiom Ethereum trading: how it works

Short answer

Axiom added Ethereum on 21 May 2026 (changelog v1.58), and the app's chain selector lists it as eth. Axiom's docs say fee cashback and referral payouts apply to Ethereum trades. Axiom publishes no Ethereum gas figures or Ethereum-specific settings, so read the network cost on the order panel before each trade.

Axiom started as a Solana terminal, and much of its documentation still reads that way. Axiom Ethereum trading arrived on 21 May 2026, and it brings a chain with different costs, slower confirmation and its own token risks. This guide separates what Axiom has documented about Ethereum from what it has not, and shows how to check the rest yourself in the app.

Does Axiom support Ethereum trading?

Yes. Axiom's in-app changelog lists Ethereum support from 21 May 2026 (v1.58), and the chain selector in the live app includes Ethereum under the code eth. You trade Ethereum tokens from the same account and interface you use for Solana.

The official FAQ still says Axiom "currently supports Solana, with additional chains planned". That page is outdated. Ethereum was the second EVM network on the Axiom trading platform after BNB Chain, which arrived in October 2025, and Base followed in September 2026. If you searched for "Axiom EVM" support, those three chains plus the newer Robinhood Chain, Ink and Arc are what the selector showed when we checked on 17 September 2026.

How is trading Ethereum on Axiom different from Solana?

The interface is shared, but the network underneath behaves differently, and Axiom's documentation is far thinner for Ethereum. The table sets out what is documented and what is general knowledge about the two networks.

Rows marked per docs come from Axiom's documentation and changelog; block times are general network knowledge, not Axiom measurements.

Two practical consequences follow. First, an Ethereum order takes longer to confirm, so the price can move more between your click and the fill. Second, gas on Ethereum rises and falls with demand for block space, and it does not shrink when your trade is small.

What does an Axiom ETH trade cost?

It costs Axiom's trading fee plus Ethereum gas. The trading fee is documented. The gas is not, because it depends on the network at that moment.

Axiom's spot fee is 1% before cashback. The docs say cashback applies to Solana, BSC and Ethereum trades, so the net fee runs from 0.95% at the Wood tier to 0.75% at Champion. The Axiom fee structure breakdown lists every tier. The docs also say users who join through a referral link get a 10% discount on trading fees, and that the referral program covers Ethereum. Our Axiom Trade referral code page explains what is and is not stated about that discount.

For gas, we give no number, because Axiom publishes none and any figure would be out of date within hours. What is general knowledge: gas is paid in ETH, it is charged per transaction and not as a share of your trade, and a transaction that fails can still cost gas. A fixed cost weighs more heavily on a small trade than on a large one. Read the network cost shown on the order panel before you confirm.

Good to know. The documented 0.001 SOL priority fee and bribe defaults are Solana settings, and the "Express Lander" default of 0.001 ETH in the changelog belongs to Robinhood Chain. Neither is an Ethereum figure.

How do you fund an Ethereum wallet in Axiom?

You send ETH on Ethereum mainnet to the deposit address the app shows when Ethereum is selected. Axiom's docs do not walk through Ethereum funding, so these steps are generic and the screen in front of you is the authority.

  1. Log in at axiom.trade. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark you made, and check the domain before you sign in.
  2. Switch the chain selector to Ethereum. Balances and deposit addresses are specific to each chain.
  3. Open the deposit option and copy the address. An Ethereum address starts with 0x. A Solana address will not work.
  4. Send a small test amount first. Use Ethereum mainnet from your wallet or exchange, and wait for it to arrive before sending more.
  5. Leave ETH for gas. Every buy, sell and withdrawal needs ETH for the network fee, so a wallet holding only tokens cannot sell them.

Watch out. Base is a separate chain in Axiom's selector. ETH sent over the wrong network, or to an address copied from another chain, may not be credited and can be lost. Match the network on the sending side to the one named on Axiom's deposit screen.

The homepage FAQ mentions a Coinbase fiat on-ramp of up to $500 a week with no KYC. We could not confirm whether it delivers ETH on Ethereum, so check the option in the app. The Axiom withdraw guide covers the general process.

Which Axiom features work on Ethereum?

Spot trading, fee cashback and referral payouts are documented for Ethereum. Most other features are described only for Solana, so treat their Ethereum behavior as something to verify in the app.

  • Documented for Ethereum. Trading since v1.58, cashback by tier, and the referral program.
  • Documented for other chains only. The unified Axiom Trade Pulse feed was announced for Solana, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain. Migration sniping is described for pump.fun tokens on Solana.
  • Not documented for Ethereum. Preset fields, MEV modes and Katana Mode are described with Solana values. The best Axiom settings guide explains them, but check which fields appear once Ethereum is selected.
  • Separate product. Perpetuals run on Hyperliquid with USDC margin, not on Ethereum spot.

What are the risks of trading Ethereum tokens on Axiom?

The main risks are gas spent on failed or tiny trades, tokens built to trap buyers, and sandwich attacks. None is unique to Axiom, and Axiom documents no Ethereum-specific protection against them.

  • Gas on failures. A reverted Ethereum transaction can still charge gas. Repeated failed attempts on a fast-moving token add up.
  • Token traps. Ethereum token contracts can include transfer taxes or code that blocks selling. Check a token's contract on a block explorer and look at whether other holders have managed to sell.
  • Sandwich attacks. Bots on Ethereum also trade around visible orders, and high slippage makes you a better target. Axiom's MEV modes are documented for Solana only. Our Katana mode guide explains the mechanics.
  • Session and key theft. A logged-in browser session can trade on every chain. Remove extensions you do not need, and never type your seed phrase into any site, bot or chat.

Axiom's wallet is non-custodial and Axiom cannot recover lost keys. No public security audit of Axiom was found in our research, so do not assume one exists.

Should you trade on Ethereum or another chain on Axiom?

That depends on where the token you want actually trades, because a token exists on the chain it was issued on. We do not recommend chains or tokens. If you have a choice, compare three things: the network cost shown on the order panel relative to your trade, how fast you need confirmation, and how much of Axiom's tooling is documented for that chain.

Solana has the most complete documentation on Axiom. For the other EVM options, see our guides to Axiom BNB chain trading and Axiom Base trading.

Questions people ask

Does Axiom support Ethereum?

Yes. Axiom's in-app changelog lists Ethereum support from 21 May 2026 (v1.58), and the live app's chain selector includes it under the code eth. The official FAQ still says Axiom supports Solana with more chains planned, but that page is out of date.

What are the fees for trading Ethereum on Axiom?

Axiom's documented spot fee is 1% before cashback, and the docs say cashback applies to Ethereum trades, which gives a net fee of 0.95% at the entry Wood tier. Ethereum gas is paid on top and changes with network demand. Axiom publishes no gas figure, so check the cost shown before you confirm. See the Axiom trading fees breakdown for the tiers.

Does the Axiom referral discount work on Ethereum?

Axiom's docs say users who sign up through a referral link get a 10% discount on trading fees, and that the referral program applies to Solana, BSC and Ethereum. The docs do not state how long the discount lasts or how it stacks with cashback, and they note some tokens may be excluded.

How do you deposit ETH to Axiom?

Switch the app to Ethereum, open the deposit option and copy the address shown there. Send ETH to it on Ethereum mainnet from your own wallet or exchange, starting with a small test transfer. Do not reuse a Solana address, and do not send over a different network than the one the deposit screen names.

Is Ethereum trading on Axiom slower than Solana?

In general, yes. Ethereum produces a block about every 12 seconds, while Solana blocks take well under a second, so an Ethereum order takes longer to confirm. That is a property of the networks, not an Axiom measurement. Axiom publishes no speed figures for Ethereum.
