Memecoin trading glossary: the terms you see on Axiom
Short answer
This glossary defines the memecoin trading terms you meet on Axiom, from bonding curve and bundle % to migration, snipers % and Turnkey. Axiom-specific entries follow Axiom's own docs and changelog; general crypto terms use their common meaning. Entries run A to Z, with a note on where each one shows up in the Axiom interface.
Memecoin trading terms come at you fast on the Axiom trading platform: the Axiom Discover feed shows bundle %, snipers %, insiders %, dev % and top-10 % next to every new token, and the trade panel adds slippage, priority fee, bribe and MEV mode. This glossary defines each term briefly and says where it appears in Axiom. Axiom-specific entries follow Axiom's docs and changelog; general terms use their common meaning.
A to C
Bonding curve
A pricing formula used by launchpads such as pump.fun: the token price rises automatically with each buy along a preset curve, with no traditional liquidity pool. When the curve fills, the token migrates to a regular exchange. Pulse's New Pairs and Final Stretch columns cover tokens still on their curve.
Bribe
A tip paid to the validator that includes your Solana transaction in a block, on top of the priority fee. Axiom's presets set a bribe with a default of 0.001 SOL. It is a network-side cost, separate from Axiom's trading fee; see the Axiom MEV protection guide.
Bundle / bundle %
A bundle is a group of transactions submitted together so they execute in the same block, often used at launch to buy a large share of supply across several wallets at once. Bundle % on Pulse estimates what share of a token's supply came from bundled buys. Axiom's FAQ also refers to a bundle checker.
Cashback tier
Axiom's fee tiers. Every trade pays a 1% base fee, and part of it returns as SOL cashback by tier, from Wood (net 0.95%) up to Champion (net 0.75%). Tiers rise with volume, but the thresholds are unpublished. All seven tiers are on our Axiom fees per trade page.
D to H
Dev holdings / dev %
The share of a token's supply held by the wallet that created it. Dev % is a Pulse filter. A high number means the creator can crash the price by selling, so many traders screen it low.
Discover
Axiom's page for finding tokens that are already trading, as opposed to Pulse's launch feed. In the live app it has tabs named Top, Trending, DEX, Surge, Live, Radar, Callouts and Streamers.
Final Stretch
The middle Pulse column, between New Pairs and Migrated. It lists tokens approaching the end of their bonding curve, which makes it the column migration traders watch most closely.
Honeypot
A token whose contract lets you buy but blocks or heavily taxes your sell, so the creator is the only one who can exit. A general memecoin term. Axiom's filters show concentration, not contract behavior, so a honeypot can still pass a clean-looking screen.
I to L
Insiders %
A Pulse filter estimating the share of supply held by wallets that look connected to the creator or the earliest buyers. It is a concentration signal alongside snipers %, bundle % and top-10 %.
Instant Trade
Axiom's floating one-click buy and sell panel next to the chart, with spacebar-combination hotkeys and a live PnL display. Documented in Axiom's swap docs.
KOL
Key opinion leader: an influencer whose posts or trades move memecoin prices. Axiom tracks these wallets on a KOL leaderboard, rebuilt on September 9, 2026 per the changelog. A KOL wallet in a token is a signal, not a guarantee.
Launchpad
A platform where anyone can create a token that trades on a bonding curve from the first second. Axiom's docs reference pump.fun in their migration example. New Pairs on Pulse is essentially a live feed of launchpad activity.
Limit order
An order to buy or sell at a price you set rather than the current one. On Axiom you place one with a slider or by dragging on the chart, and Auto-Strategies let you buy and place limit orders in one click, which works like a take-profit and stop-loss ladder. See Axiom take profit.
Liquidity pool (LP)
The pool of tokens and SOL (or another base asset) on a decentralized exchange that trades execute against. Bigger pools mean less price impact per trade. Pulse has a liquidity filter, and a migration is when a token's liquidity moves from the bonding curve into a DEX pool.
M to P
Market cap (mcap)
Token price multiplied by total supply. Memecoin traders use it more than price because supplies vary wildly. Pulse has an mcap filter, and most token cards show mcap rather than unit price.
MEV / sandwich attack
MEV is value extracted by whoever orders transactions in a block. A sandwich attack is the common form: a bot buys ahead of your pending buy to push the price up, then sells right after you. Axiom offers three MEV modes, Off, Reduced (Jito) and Secure (whitelisted validators, may be slower); the docs recommend Secure.
Migration
The moment a token completes its bonding curve and its liquidity moves to a regular exchange; Axiom's docs describe it as pump.fun to Raydium. Pulse's Migrated column lists tokens past this point, and Axiom's migration sniping can buy or sell the instant it happens.
New Pairs
The first Pulse column: tokens created moments ago, still at the start of their bonding curve. It is the highest-risk, highest-noise part of the feed.
Non-custodial
A wallet model where the platform does not hold your keys. Axiom describes its wallets as fully non-custodial and secured by Turnkey, and its Terms state it does not store copies of keys. Axiom cannot spend your funds and also cannot recover a lost seed phrase.
PnL
Profit and loss. Axiom shows PnL in Instant Trade, on Pulse, in the portfolio (separate spot and perps views), in a PnL calendar and on shareable PnL cards. Since June 3, 2025, Axiom's PnL figures include fees.
Presets (P1/P2/P3)
Three saved trade configurations you switch between with one click. Each holds slippage, priority fee, bribe and MEV mode; defaults are 0.001 SOL priority and 0.001 SOL bribe. Setup is covered in our best Axiom settings guide.
Priority fee
An extra fee paid to Solana validators so your transaction is processed sooner. Axiom's default is 0.001 SOL and it auto-suggests values. Katana Mode, Axiom's predictive fee feature (V3 released September 12, 2026), adjusts fees automatically at no extra cost per the changelog.
Pulse
Axiom's live token discovery feed with three columns, New Pairs, Final Stretch and Migrated, and filters for age, top-10 %, dev %, snipers %, insiders %, bundle %, holders, pro traders, liquidity, volume, mcap and transactions. Unified across Solana, BNB and Robinhood Chain since July 14, 2026.
Q to S
Quick Buy
The lightning-bolt button on Pulse cards that buys a preset amount with one click, without opening the token page. Per-table quick buy amounts are configurable.
Referral code
A code or link from an existing user. Axiom's docs say sign-ups through a referral link get a 10% discount on trading fees, while the referrer earns 30% of Axiom's net fee on direct referrals (3% and 2% on the next two levels). The discount's duration is not stated. See the Axiom Pro referral code page.
Rug pull
When a token's creator or a dominant holder removes liquidity or dumps their supply, leaving the price near zero. A general term. Dev %, insiders %, bundle % and top-10 % exist on Pulse to make rug setups easier to spot before you buy.
Seed phrase
The list of words that restores full control of a wallet. Axiom shows yours at signup and keeps it accessible in your settings; the docs suggest importing it into Phantom, Rabby or Solflare as a backup. Never type it into any site, app or chat, including anything claiming to be Axiom.
Slippage
The maximum difference you accept between the quoted and executed price. Too low and your buy fails in a fast market; too high and you overpay or get sandwiched. Axiom sets it per preset and auto-suggests values; the docs only say to adjust it to volatility. The 15% to 30% figures circulating for new pairs are community opinion.
Sniper / snipers %
A sniper is a trader or bot that buys in the first block or two after a token launches or migrates. Snipers % on Pulse estimates how much supply those early buyers hold. Axiom's migration sniper feature is the platform's own version of the tactic.
Surge
A Discover tab, added July 8, 2025, that surfaces algorithmic hot-token alerts based on sudden activity. Treat it as a heads-up feed rather than a recommendation.
T to W
Top-10 holders %
The share of a token's supply held by its ten largest wallets, shown as a Pulse filter. High concentration means a few sellers can move the price a lot; low concentration is one of the better signs on a new token.
Turnkey
The wallet infrastructure company securing Axiom's non-custodial wallets. Turnkey's case study describes policy-based signing that lets Axiom automate on-chain actions such as limit orders and snipes. The trade-off: a logged-in session can trade, which is why session theft matters.
Wallet tracker
Axiom's tool for following other wallets' trades in real time, with groups, transfer tracking and up to 500 tracked wallets per the changelog. It is manual following, not automated copy trading. Our track wallets on Axiom guide walks through it.

Questions people ask
What does bundle % mean on Axiom?
Bundle % is a Pulse filter that estimates what share of a token's supply was bought in bundled transactions, meaning several buys submitted together at launch, often across wallets controlled by one party. A high bundle % suggests one group holds a large, coordinated position that can be sold at once. Axiom's FAQ also mentions a bundle checker.
What is a migration in memecoin trading?
A migration is the moment a token leaves its launchpad bonding curve and its liquidity moves to a regular decentralized exchange pool. Axiom's docs describe it as pump.fun to Raydium. Pulse has a Migrated column for tokens that have completed this step, and Axiom's migration sniper can buy or sell at the moment it happens.
What does dev holdings or dev % mean?
Dev % is the share of a token's supply held by the wallet that created it. It is one of the Pulse filters on Axiom. A large dev holding means the creator can move the price sharply by selling, which is why many traders filter it low, though the number alone does not prove intent either way.
What is insiders % on Axiom Pulse?
Insiders % is a Pulse filter for the estimated share of supply held by wallets that appear connected to the token's creator or earliest buyers. Like snipers % and bundle %, it is a concentration signal: the higher it is, the more of the float sits with people who got in before the public.
What is a honeypot token?
A honeypot is a token you can buy but cannot sell, because its contract blocks or taxes sells for anyone but the creator. It is a general memecoin term rather than an Axiom feature. Concentration filters and a small test sell are the usual defenses; Axiom's Pulse filters help with the first, not the second.
