Axiom vs GMGN: which one fits how you trade?
Short answer
Axiom and GMGN both charge a 1% fee per trade according to their own docs. Axiom returns part of it as SOL cashback, for a net 0.95% to 0.75%, and runs as a web terminal with perps, trackers, predictions and yield. GMGN focuses on analytics and smart-money tracking, is multi-chain, and offers bots and mobile, which Axiom officially does not.
Axiom vs GMGN is less a fee contest than a choice between two styles of tool. Both charge 1% per trade on their published rates. GMGN is built around analytics and smart-money tracking and also offers bots and mobile access. Axiom is a web trading terminal that has added perpetuals, trackers, prediction markets and yield around a fast spot-trading core.
The Axiom details below come from its official docs, homepage and changelog. For GMGN we verified the fee on its own docs and rely on short research notes for the rest, so gaps are marked "not covered in our research" and not filled with guesses. We earn a referral commission from Axiom.

How do Axiom and GMGN fees compare?
Both publish a 1% fee, and Axiom's net cost is a little lower once cashback is counted. GMGN's docs state 1% per transaction. Axiom's docs state 1% with SOL cashback across seven tiers, from Wood (0.95% net) to Champion (0.75% net).
New Axiom accounts start at Wood, and Axiom does not publish the volume needed to move up, so 0.95% is the honest planning number. On a $1,000 trade, a round figure used only for arithmetic, that is $9.50 against $10. Axiom's docs also give users who join through a referral link a 10% discount on trading fees, without stating how long it lasts or how it stacks with cashback. Third-party sites mention GMGN referral discounts too, but we could not verify a figure in GMGN's docs.
Network costs are separate on both. On Axiom's Solana side, the priority fee and the bribe each default to 0.001 SOL. See the Axiom fee tiers in full or how the Axiom referral discount works.
What does GMGN do that Axiom does not?
GMGN offers bots and mobile access, and Axiom officially offers neither. That is the clearest dividing line in this comparison.
Axiom's homepage, docs and changelog mention no official Telegram or trading bot. Telegram shows up only as a place to receive price alerts. The same sources mention no iOS or Android app, APK or browser extension; the only official mobile reference is a revamped mobile layout of the website. Pages offering an Axiom app download are third-party, and a fake "Axiom" app drained 207 users according to community investigators, a third-party figure.
GMGN's second advantage is focus. Our research notes describe it as an analytics and smart-money product first. If your process starts with studying wallets and only sometimes ends in a trade, a tool designed around that research may fit better than a terminal designed around the buy button. How deep GMGN's analytics go is not covered in our research, so test it yourself.
What does Axiom do that GMGN may not?
Axiom documents a wider set of trading products in a single web account. Whether GMGN matches each one is not covered in our research, so read this as a list of what Axiom has, not as a list of what GMGN lacks.
- Published cashback tiers. A documented route from 0.95% to 0.75% net.
- Hyperliquid perpetuals. Up to 50x leverage with USDC margin; Axiom's docs state a 0.01% fee per transaction on top of Hyperliquid's own fees. Leverage magnifies losses as fast as gains.
- Fast spot execution tools. Pulse with one-click Quick Buy, the Instant Trade panel with hotkeys, limit orders placed on the chart, and a migration sniper.
- MEV settings. Off, Reduced and Secure modes; the docs recommend Secure.
- Predictions and yield. A Predictions tab launched in June 2026. A Yield page exists too, though Axiom's homepage and docs describe that product differently.
How does Axiom's wallet tracker relate to GMGN?
Axiom's wallet tracker shows cross-source tracker counts that include GMGN. In practice you can see how widely a wallet is already followed across tracking tools, not just on Axiom.
The tracker itself handles up to 500 wallets with groups and transfer tracking, alongside a social tracker for X and Truth Social and the Vision and KOL leaderboards. Our guide to Axiom's trackers explains them. One limit to keep in mind: Axiom's official material covers tracking wallets and following them manually. It does not document automated copy trading.
Choose GMGN or choose Axiom?
Choose Axiom if
- You trade mainly from a desktop browser and care about one-click execution.
- You want a published net fee below 1% from the first trade.
- You want spot, Hyperliquid perps and wallet tracking under one login.
- You are comfortable without an official bot or mobile app.
Choose GMGN if
- Smart-money analytics is the center of your process.
- You want to trade through bots.
- You need mobile access beyond a responsive website.
- You already use it, it works for you, and a gap of about 0.05 percentage points at Axiom's entry tier does not justify a move.
Using both is also reasonable: research on one, execute on the other. If you add Axiom, the Axiom setup tutorial covers signup, the seed phrase backup and a first trade.
What risks apply whichever you choose?
The biggest risk is the asset, not the platform: most memecoins go to zero, and neither analytics nor speed changes that. The second is account theft. Reported Axiom losses involve look-alike domains, fake apps and malicious browser extensions that stole logged-in sessions, which Socket documented in September 2026. Log in only at axiom.trade and keep third-party extensions away from it.
Axiom also carries platform-specific points. In February 2026, investigator ZachXBT alleged that an Axiom employee misused internal support tools to look up users' wallets; Axiom said it removed access to those tools and would investigate, and we found no published outcome. We found no public security audit, and the Terms cap liability at $100. GMGN's security record is not covered in our research, so ask the same questions there before you deposit.

Questions people ask
Is Axiom or GMGN cheaper?
On published fees, Axiom is slightly cheaper. GMGN's docs list 1% per transaction. Axiom lists 1% gross with SOL cashback tiers that bring the net fee to 0.95% for new users and 0.75% at the top tier, and its docs give referred users a 10% fee discount. GMGN referral discounts are mentioned by third-party sites only, so we do not quote a figure.
Does Axiom have a Telegram bot or mobile app like GMGN?
No official one was found. Axiom's homepage, docs and changelog mention no trading bot, mobile app, APK or browser extension; Telegram appears only as a destination for price alerts. If bots or mobile access are essential to you, that is a genuine reason to look at GMGN. Avoid any unofficial Axiom app or bot.
Can you use GMGN and Axiom together?
Yes. Nothing in our research stops you from using one for research and the other for execution. Axiom's wallet tracker even shows cross-source tracker counts that include GMGN. Keep separate wallets and only log in on each platform's official domain.
Which is better for tracking smart money, Axiom or GMGN?
GMGN is built around analytics and smart-money tracking, according to our research notes, so it is the more specialized choice. Axiom's trackers cover up to 500 wallets with groups, plus a social tracker and leaderboards. A depth comparison of GMGN's analytics is not covered in our research, and a tracked wallet's past results promise nothing about its next trade.
Does Axiom support more chains than GMGN?
We cannot say. Axiom's app listed Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ink and Arc in September 2026, with Hyperliquid for perpetuals. GMGN is multi-chain, but its exact chain list is not covered in our research. Check both platforms for the specific chain you need.
