Axiom Trade fee calculator: worked examples

Short answer

Multiply your trade value by your tier's net rate. At the starting Wood tier (0.95%), Axiom keeps $0.95 on a $100 spot trade and $9.50 on $1,000; at the top Champion tier (0.75%) it keeps $0.75 and $7.50. A buy plus a sell doubles it. Default Solana network costs add 0.002 SOL per trade. These are our sums from Axiom's published percentages, not quotes.

This page works as an Axiom Trade fee calculator on paper: one formula, then the results for five trade sizes at every cashback tier. It assumes you already know how the fee is built. If you do not, the Axiom Trade fees explainer covers the 1% base fee, the tiers and the network settings.

Every dollar figure below is our arithmetic from the percentages in Axiom's fee documentation, checked on September 17, 2026. None of it is a quote from Axiom.

The formula behind this Axiom Trade fee calculator

The fee Axiom keeps on a spot trade is the trade value multiplied by your tier's net rate. The net rate is the 1% base fee minus the cashback share, which the docs publish for seven tiers.

  • Net fee = trade value × net rate (0.95% at Wood, 0.75% at Champion).
  • Round trip = fee on the buy + fee on the sell, each on its own trade value.
  • Network costs = priority fee + bribe per trade, fixed amounts in SOL that do not scale with trade size.

The volume needed to reach each tier is not published, so a new account should use the Wood row. The docs say cashback applies to Solana, BNB Chain and Ethereum trades; fee levels on the newer chains are not documented, so these sums may not hold there.

How much does Axiom charge on $50 to $5,000 trades?

At the Wood tier Axiom keeps $0.475 on a $50 trade and $47.50 on a $5,000 trade; at Champion it keeps $0.375 and $37.50. The full grid is below. Each cell is the trade size multiplied by the net rate in the second column.

What Axiom keeps on one spot trade after cashback (our arithmetic, not a quote)
TierNet rate$50$100$500$1,000$5,000
Base fee, before cashback1.00%$0.50$1.00$5.00$10.00$50.00
Wood0.95%$0.475$0.95$4.75$9.50$47.50
Bronze0.90%$0.45$0.90$4.50$9.00$45.00
Silver0.875%$0.4375$0.875$4.375$8.75$43.75
Gold0.85%$0.425$0.85$4.25$8.50$42.50
Platinum0.825%$0.4125$0.825$4.125$8.25$41.25
Diamond0.80%$0.40$0.80$4.00$8.00$40.00
Champion0.75%$0.375$0.75$3.75$7.50$37.50

The gap between the first and last tier is 0.20% of the trade: $0.10 on $50, $2.00 on $1,000 and $10.00 on $5,000. Fractions of a cent are shown so you can check the sums; cashback is paid in SOL, so expect small rounding differences.

What is the Axiom fee on 100 dollars?

On a $100 trade, a Wood-tier account pays a net $0.95. Here is the sum in full.

  1. Base fee. $100 × 1% = $1.00.
  2. Cashback. Wood returns 5% of that fee: $1.00 × 5% = $0.05, paid in SOL.
  3. Net fee. $1.00 − $0.05 = $0.95, which is the same as $100 × 0.95%.

Run the same three lines for Champion, which returns 25%: $1.00 base, $0.25 back, $0.75 net.

What does an Axiom round trip cost?

A round trip costs two fees, one on the buy and one on the sell. If you sell at the same value you bought, that is 1.9% of the trade value at Wood (0.95% × 2) and 1.5% at Champion (0.75% × 2).

Axiom round trip cost, buying and selling at the same value (our arithmetic)
Trade sizeWood: buy + sellChampion: buy + sell
$50$0.475 + $0.475 = $0.95$0.375 + $0.375 = $0.75
$100$0.95 + $0.95 = $1.90$0.75 + $0.75 = $1.50
$500$4.75 + $4.75 = $9.50$3.75 + $3.75 = $7.50
$1,000$9.50 + $9.50 = $19.00$7.50 + $7.50 = $15.00
$5,000$47.50 + $47.50 = $95.00$37.50 + $37.50 = $75.00
Worked example for an Axiom Trade fee calculator: a $1,000 buy and sell at the Wood tier costs $9.50 twice, $19.00 for the round trip
One round trip drawn step by step, then the totals for all five trade sizes at the first and last tier.

Real round trips rarely end at the same value, and the sell fee follows the value sold. Buy $500 at Wood and sell when the position is worth $800: $4.75 + ($800 × 0.95% = $7.60) = $12.35. Sell the same position at $300 instead: $4.75 + ($300 × 0.95% = $2.85) = $7.60. The fee is smaller on a losing trade, but it is still charged. Axiom's portfolio figures include fees in PnL, as described on the Axiom portfolio page.

What do network costs add at the default settings?

At Axiom's documented Solana defaults, network costs add 0.002 SOL per trade: a 0.001 SOL priority fee plus a 0.001 SOL bribe. A round trip is two trades, so 0.004 SOL. Ten round trips come to 0.04 SOL.

These are fixed amounts, so their weight depends on trade size. To turn them into dollars, multiply by the SOL price on the day. Purely as an illustration, at a hypothetical $100 per SOL, 0.002 SOL is $0.20. Against a $50 trade that is 0.4% on top of the $0.475 Wood fee, for $0.675 in total. Against a $5,000 trade it is 0.004%.

If you raise the priority fee or bribe, redo the sum with your own numbers. Presets are covered in the Axiom priority fee guide.

What would the 10% referral discount change?

Axiom's docs say users who sign up through a referral link receive a 10% discount on trading fees. They do not document how that discount stacks with tier cashback, or how long it lasts, so the figures in this section are a labelled illustration and nothing more.

Illustration only: two possible readings of the referral discount on a $1,000 trade
ReadingWoodChampion
No discount (documented)$9.50$7.50
10% off the fee after cashback$9.50 × 0.90 = $8.55$7.50 × 0.90 = $6.75
10% and cashback both taken off the $10 base$10 − $1.00 − $0.50 = $8.50$10 − $1.00 − $2.50 = $6.50

Neither reading is confirmed by Axiom. On either, the discount is worth between $0.75 and $1.00 per $1,000 traded in these examples. Codes that promise 20% or 30% off contradict the docs. The official terms are on our Axiom Trade invite code page.

What do perpetuals cost at 0.01%?

For perpetuals the docs state that "Axiom takes a 0.01% fee per transaction". On a $1,000 position that is $0.10 to open and $0.10 to close, so $0.20 for the pair. On $5,000 it is $0.50 each way; on $50,000 it is $5.00 each way.

Two cautions apply. First, Hyperliquid's own trading fees come on top, are set by Hyperliquid, and are not included in these sums. Second, we have assumed the percentage applies to the position size rather than to your margin; the docs do not spell this out. With leverage, the position is larger than the money you put in, and so is any fee charged on it. Leverage of up to 50x also magnifies losses, as the Axiom Hyperliquid guide explains.

What these fee examples leave out

These examples cover only what is published as a percentage or a default. Several real costs are not documented and are not estimated here.

  • Tier thresholds. Not published, so we cannot tell you when you leave the Wood row.
  • Newer chains. Fee and cashback levels on Base, Robinhood Chain, Ink and Arc are not documented.
  • Perps withdrawal. Converting Hyperliquid USDC back to Solana USDC takes about five minutes per the docs; the cost is not specified.
  • Slippage and price impact. Not fees, often larger than fees on thin pools.

Questions people ask

Is there an official Axiom Trade fee calculator?

We found no fee calculator in Axiom's docs. The sum is simple enough to do by hand: trade value multiplied by your tier's net rate, from 0.95% at Wood to 0.75% at Champion. The tables on this page do that sum for five trade sizes and all seven tiers. They are arithmetic from the published percentages, not figures quoted by Axiom.

How much does Axiom charge per trade?

Axiom charges a 1% base fee on each spot trade and returns part of it as SOL cashback, so the net rate is 0.95% for a new Wood-tier account and 0.75% at the Champion tier. On a $500 trade that works out to $4.75 and $3.75. The structure is explained on our Axiom Trade fees page.

What is the Axiom fee on 100 dollars?

At the Wood tier, $100 multiplied by 0.95% is $0.95. The 1% base fee is $1.00 and the 5% cashback returns $0.05 of it. At the Champion tier the same trade leaves Axiom $0.75. Default network costs of 0.002 SOL are extra.

What does an Axiom round trip cost?

A round trip is two trades, so the fee is charged twice. Buying $1,000 of a token and selling it at the same value costs $19.00 in Axiom fees at the Wood tier and $15.00 at Champion, plus 0.004 SOL in default network costs. If the position is worth more or less when you sell, the sell fee follows that value.

How much does the 10% referral discount save?

Axiom's docs state the 10% discount but not how it combines with cashback, so any number is an illustration. Two plausible readings put a Wood-tier fee on a $1,000 trade at $8.55 or $8.50 instead of $9.50. Treat that as a rough guide only, and see the Axiom Trade referral code page for the official terms.

How much does Axiom charge on perpetuals?

The docs state that Axiom takes a 0.01% fee per transaction on Hyperliquid perpetuals. On a $1,000 position that is $0.10 to open and $0.10 to close. Hyperliquid's own trading fees apply on top and are set by Hyperliquid, not by Axiom.
