Axiom Predictions: what the prediction markets tab is

Short answer

Axiom Predictions is a tab inside the Axiom trading terminal for prediction markets, where you buy shares in an outcome rather than a token. It launched on June 12, 2026 with a World Cup promotion and got a major update on June 26, 2026. Axiom's public material does not name the market provider or a fee schedule, so check the live app before using it.

Axiom Predictions is the prediction markets tab inside Axiom's web trading terminal. It appeared in the in-app changelog on June 12, 2026 (version 1.60) with a World Cup promotion, and a second entry on June 26, 2026 describes a major update. That is close to everything Axiom's public material says about it. This page covers what a prediction market is, what is and is not documented about Axiom's version, how it differs from memecoin trading, and the risks to weigh first.

What is Axiom Predictions?

Axiom Predictions is a tab in the Axiom app where you trade on the outcome of real-world events instead of buying tokens. It sits alongside memecoin spot trading, Axiom Hyperliquid, yield and rewards, under what Axiom's homepage calls "The Gateway to DeFi".

Two changelog entries are the documented record: the June 12, 2026 launch (v1.60) with a World Cup promotion advertising "$20 of pUSD", and the June 26, 2026 major update. The changelog does not explain what pUSD is beyond that promo line, and we could not verify it on any other official page.

Good to know. Do not confuse Axiom Predictions with the Polymarket markets about Axiom Trade, such as whether Axiom will launch a token. Those are hosted elsewhere and speculate about the company. No Axiom token has been announced.

How do prediction markets work?

A prediction market lets you buy shares in a specific outcome, such as one team winning a match. Each share pays a fixed amount, normally one unit of the market's currency, if the outcome happens and nothing if it does not. Shares therefore trade at prices between 0 and 1, and the price reads as an implied probability: a "Yes" share at 0.70 means the market prices roughly a 70% chance.

You can hold until the market resolves and collect the payout, or sell earlier at the current price. This is general knowledge; how closely Axiom's tab follows the standard design is not described in its docs, so treat the live interface as the authority.

How a share on Axiom Predictions pays out: priced between 0 and 1, for example 0.70, it pays 1 if the outcome happens and 0 if not
The payout design is general prediction-market knowledge; the lower panel lists what Axiom has not published about its own tab.

What does Axiom document about Predictions, and what is missing?

Axiom documents that the tab exists, when it launched and when it was updated. It does not document who runs the markets, what they cost or how disputes are settled. The table is our audit of official material as of September 2026.

Axiom Predictions: documented versus undocumented
ItemStatus
The Predictions tab existsDocumented in the changelog; visible in the live app
Launch dateJune 12, 2026, v1.60, with a World Cup promotion
Major updateJune 26, 2026
Launch promotion"$20 of pUSD"; what pUSD is and the promo conditions are not explained
Market provider (order books, resolution)Not documented; unverified
Fees on prediction tradesNot covered by the fee docs, which describe token trades
Resolution rules and dispute processNot documented
Which countries may use itNot stated; the Terms put legal compliance on the user

For token trades Axiom publishes exact numbers, covered in our Axiom trading fees breakdown. There is no equivalent page for Predictions, so a third-party site that names a provider, a fee or a payout rule is guessing.

Is Axiom Predictions the same as memecoin trading?

No. The two products share a login and a wallet, and that is where the similarity ends. A memecoin trade buys a token with an open-ended price that you can sell whenever the pool has liquidity. A prediction share has a capped payout, a defined end date and a binary result.

  • Different tools. The Axiom Discover feed, its bundle and sniper filters, migration sniping and limit orders are built for tokens, not for a market that resolves on a football score.
  • Different cost rules. Axiom's cashback tiers and referral discount are documented for Solana, BSC and Ethereum token trades. Whether they apply to Predictions is not stated.
  • Different failure modes. Tokens fail through rug pulls and thin liquidity. Predictions fail through wrong calls and disputed resolutions.

If you came to Axiom for memecoins, our Axiom Trade guide covers that side.

What are the risks of prediction markets on Axiom?

The main risks are resolution disputes, thin liquidity and an undocumented provider, each amplified by how little Axiom has published.

  • Resolution disputes. Someone has to decide what happened. A postponed match or a contested result can go against you, and Axiom does not publish who resolves its markets or how to appeal.
  • Liquidity. Small markets have wide spreads. You may be unable to sell before resolution at a fair price, or at all.
  • Provider and contract risk. With the provider unverified, you cannot research its track record, and we found no public security audit for Axiom itself. Our Axiom Trade reviews covers the wider safety picture.
  • Promo conditions. Launch credits such as "$20 of pUSD" normally carry conditions. Read them in the app before assuming the credit is withdrawable.
  • Terms of service. Axiom's Terms cap its liability at $100 and require arbitration under California law. No prediction outcome will be reimbursed.

Watch out. Prediction shares can go to zero at resolution by design. Never fund the Axiom wallet with more than you are prepared to lose, and protect the wallet itself as described in our protect Axiom wallet checklist.

Can you use Axiom Predictions in your country?

Axiom does not say. Its Terms, effective February 26, 2026, bar sanctioned persons and jurisdictions, forbid using a VPN to bypass restrictions, and place responsibility for complying with local law on the user. No country list for Predictions is published.

Prediction markets are regulated unevenly: some countries treat them as gambling, some as derivatives, some have not decided. A VPN would breach Axiom's Terms and possibly your own laws. This page is not legal advice; if you are unsure, leave the tab alone.

How to look at Axiom Predictions before you trade

Treat the first visit as research rather than a trade.

  1. Log in on the real site. Type axiom.trade yourself and follow the checks in our Axiom Trade login guide. Predictions has no separate login.
  2. Read everything on the tab. Note the currency used, any fee shown at order time, the resolution source on each market, and the conditions on promotional credit.
  3. Start with one small position. Watch whether you can sell before resolution and how a payout arrives. Whether results appear in Axiom's PnL views is not documented, so keep your own notes.
  4. Ask through the official channel. Questions go through a Discord ticket, as described on our contact Axiom Trade page. Nobody official will answer by DM.

Questions people ask

What is Axiom Predictions?

Axiom Predictions is a tab in the Axiom web app for prediction markets: you buy shares in the outcome of an event, and the shares pay out if that outcome happens. It sits next to Axiom's memecoin trading, perpetuals and yield products. Axiom's changelog records its launch on June 12, 2026 and a major update on June 26, 2026, but does not describe how the markets are run.

When did Axiom launch prediction markets?

The Predictions tab appeared in Axiom's in-app changelog on June 12, 2026 (version 1.60), timed with a World Cup promotion that advertised "$20 of pUSD". A second changelog entry on June 26, 2026 describes a major update to the tab. Those two entries are the only official record we found.

Which prediction market provider does Axiom use?

We could not verify it. Neither the Axiom docs nor the changelog entries we read name the company or protocol that runs the order books and resolves the markets behind the Predictions tab. Until Axiom publishes that, treat any third-party claim about the provider as unconfirmed and read what the live tab itself shows.

What is pUSD on Axiom?

pUSD is the unit Axiom's changelog used for the launch promotion ("$20 of pUSD"). The official material we read does not define it beyond that line, so we cannot say how it relates to the USDC or SOL in your Axiom wallet. It is not an Axiom token: Axiom has announced no token of its own, as our Axiom Trade token page explains.

Are prediction markets on Axiom legal in my country?

Axiom does not publish a country list for Predictions. Its Terms bar sanctioned persons and jurisdictions, forbid using a VPN to get around restrictions, and put the responsibility for complying with local law on you. Prediction markets are regulated differently from country to country, sometimes as gambling and sometimes as derivatives, so check your own rules before you trade.

Is Axiom Predictions the same as trading memecoins on Axiom?

No. A memecoin trade buys a token with an open-ended price that you can hold or sell whenever there is liquidity. A prediction share pays a fixed amount if an outcome happens and nothing if it does not, and the market ends at resolution. Pulse filters, snipers and bundle checks do not apply, and Axiom's published fee and cashback rules are written for token trades, not predictions.
