Axiom price alerts and notifications, explained

Short answer

Axiom price alerts notify you when a token reaches a level you set, and since the changelog entry of 13 August 2025 they can be delivered to Discord or Telegram. Axiom also has Surge alerts on Discover and sound alerts in Pulse. Telegram is an alert destination only: there is no official Axiom Telegram trading bot. Setup steps are not in the official docs.

You cannot watch every chart, and memecoin prices move while you are away from the screen. Axiom Trade price alerts cover that gap: you set a level, and Axiom notifies you when the token gets there. This page explains the three kinds of alert Axiom offers, how Discord and Telegram delivery fits in, how to set alerts up in general terms, and how to keep an alert from turning into an impulse trade.

What are Axiom price alerts?

They are notifications tied to a token's price. Axiom's in-app changelog lists "price alerts with Discord/Telegram notifications" on 13 August 2025. You choose a token and a level, and when the market reaches it a message goes to the channel you connected.

That changelog line is the whole official record. The docs have no page on alerts, so the following are not documented: whether alerts can be set on market cap as well as price, how many you can keep active, whether they repeat or fire once, and which chains they cover. Check those points in the alert dialog itself.

A price alert does not buy, sell or reserve funds. For a trade at a set level you need a limit order, covered further down.

Which alerts and notifications does Axiom have?

Axiom has three alert types in its official material: price alerts, Surge alerts and Pulse sound alerts. Only the first is set by you for a specific token and level.

Axiom also has trackers that produce their own notifications about people, not prices. The Axiom wallet tracker follows what chosen wallets buy and sell, and the Axiom X tracker follows posts from chosen accounts.

How do you set up a price alert on Axiom?

Axiom's docs give no step-by-step, so this is the general shape. Trust the labels you see on axiom.trade over any guide, including this one.

  1. Open the token. Go to the token's page on axiom.trade and find the alert control. Trading terminals usually place it near the chart or the token header, often as a bell icon.
  2. Choose the level. Enter the price at which you want to be told. Decide now what you would do there: look again, take profit, or do nothing.
  3. Choose where it goes. Pick Discord or Telegram if you have connected one, or whatever in-app option the dialog offers.
  4. Test it. Set one alert close to the current price on a liquid token and confirm that it arrives where you expect, before you depend on the feature.
  5. Clean up. Delete alerts for tokens you no longer hold or watch, so the ones that fire still mean something.

How do Axiom Telegram alerts and Discord alerts work?

Discord and Telegram are delivery channels for price alerts, and nothing more. The changelog names both. It does not say whether messages arrive through a bot, a direct message, a server channel or a webhook, and we have not found official setup instructions.

The safe rule follows from that gap: start the connection from inside axiom.trade. Open the alert or notification settings in the app and follow the link or code it gives you. Do not start from the other side by searching Telegram or Discord for "Axiom". Look-alike bots and accounts are easy to create.

Watch out. There is no official Axiom Telegram trading bot. Telegram is an alert destination only. An alert never needs your seed phrase, private key, password or login code, and it never needs you to "connect a wallet" on a linked page. Axiom's official support runs through Discord tickets, and staff never message you first. When an alert arrives, open axiom.trade from your own bookmark and do not follow links in the message.

For what is and is not automated on the platform, see the page on Axiom Trade bot. The Axiom Trade support guide shows how to reach the real ticket channel if Axiom notifications stop working.

What are Surge alerts on Discover?

Surge is a tab on Axiom's Discover page that shows algorithmic hot-token alerts. It was added on 8 July 2025 according to the changelog. You do not set a level. Axiom's system decides that a token is surging and lists it.

Axiom has not published what the algorithm measures, so a Surge entry tells you that something is moving and not why. By the time a token is flagged, part of the move has already happened. Treat the tab as a list of things to research. Whether Surge alerts can be forwarded to Discord or Telegram is not documented.

How do sound alerts in Pulse work?

Pulse sound alerts play audio in your browser when activity appears in the Pulse columns. Axiom's Pulse documentation lists sound alerts among the features, next to filters and per-table quick buys.

Sound alerts are only as useful as your filters. With no filters, New Pairs can produce a constant stream and the sound becomes noise. With filters for age, liquidity, holder spread and similar fields, a sound is far more likely to mean something you care about. Our Axiom Trade Pulse guide covers the filters. Sounds need the tab open and the browser allowed to play audio, so they do not replace a Discord or Telegram notification when you are away.

Why is an alert a signal to look, not an instruction to buy?

An alert tells you one thing: a number was reached. It says nothing about why, or whether the reason still holds. Price can hit your level through real demand, one large wallet, or a push that reverses minutes later.

A short routine helps when a notification lands:

  • Open the token on axiom.trade yourself and look at the chart, volume and liquidity as they are now, not as the alert described them.
  • Check who holds the token. Pulse filters cover top-10, developer, sniper, insider and bundle percentages.
  • Compare with the plan you made when you set the alert. If you have no plan, the alert is a reason to make one, not to click.
  • Remember that a delayed message describes the past. Fast tokens can move a long way in the time a notification takes to reach your phone.

No alert setting makes a trade safe.

Should you use price alerts or limit orders?

Use an alert when you want to decide at that price, and a limit order when you have already decided. An alert costs nothing and commits nothing. A limit order executes without you, which matters when you are asleep or the move is too fast to react to.

Axiom's limit orders are set with a slider or by dragging a level on the chart, and its Auto-Strategies let you place exit orders together with a buy. The Axiom stop loss guide explains both. The two can be combined: limit orders for exits you are sure about, alerts for levels where you want to think again.

Questions people ask

Does Axiom have price alerts?

Yes. Axiom's in-app changelog lists price alerts with Discord and Telegram notifications, added on 13 August 2025. The official docs have no dedicated page describing the setup, so the exact buttons and options are whatever your version of the app shows. Look for an alert or bell control on a token's page or chart.

How do you set up Axiom Telegram alerts?

Start inside axiom.trade, not inside Telegram. Find the notification or alert settings in the app, choose Telegram as the destination and follow the connection step shown there. The docs do not describe this flow, so we cannot list exact buttons. Do not search Telegram for an Axiom bot: look-alike bots are common and none is an official trading bot.

How do Axiom Discord alerts work?

The changelog says price alerts can send notifications to Discord, but it does not explain whether they arrive as a direct message, in a server channel or through a webhook. Connect Discord only from the alert settings inside axiom.trade. Remember that Axiom support staff never message you first, so an alert should never ask you to reply, verify or share anything.

Is there an official Axiom Telegram bot for trading?

No official Axiom Telegram trading bot was found in the docs, the homepage or the changelog. Telegram appears only as a place where alerts can be delivered. Pages and bots offering to trade on Axiom through Telegram are third-party, and giving one a seed phrase, private key or login code hands over your wallet.

Can an Axiom alert buy or sell a token for you?

No. An alert only sends a notification. If you want an order to execute at a price without you watching, that is a limit order, which Axiom supports with a slider or by dragging a level on the chart. Alerts cost nothing to trigger; limit orders spend or sell real funds when they fill.

Why did an Axiom alert not arrive?

The official sources do not document delivery limits or delays, so check the basics. Confirm the alert still exists and its level is correct, that the Discord or Telegram connection is still active in your Axiom settings, and that notifications are not muted in that app. Never rely on an alert as your only protection for an open position.
